This notice explains how information is handled when you visit secondee.ai, use the time calculator or contact us.

Your calculator inputs

The calculator runs in your browser. We do not include your headcount, pay, hours, costs, search terms or estimate values in website analytics. Entering an assumption does not send it to us as an enquiry.

Anonymous website statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and whether visitors use the calculator or choose a contact option. These statistics help us improve the site. Vercel describes its analytics as anonymous and cookie-free; see Vercel’s analytics privacy explanation for its processing and visitor identification approach.

Our custom events record only a contact option’s location and channel, the source of an estimate selection, and whether calculator editing started or a valid update was completed. The last two are counted at most once per page visit. A contact click is an indication of intent, not proof that an email was sent.

We remove query parameters and fragments from analytics page addresses and group missing pages under “/404”. Analytics may also describe visits by referral source, country, device and browser. Hosting and analytics providers process technical request information to deliver and measure the site.

Sharing an estimate or sending email

Sharing is optional. “Discuss this estimate” lets you preview a summary and pass it to your email application. The default summary includes the selected workflow and time estimate, its range, research date and limitations. It leaves out raw headcount and pay assumptions.

Copying an address or estimate places it on your device’s clipboard. Your clipboard and email provider may have their own storage or syncing settings. You decide whether to send the email and can edit its contents first. If you send an enquiry, we receive the address, message and any other information you choose to include and use it to respond.
